To Answer Ur Phone Call...

Solah called me a moment ago! We seldom call each other while working.

I don't know what's in his mind, SUPER WORRY ke?

1st Call (His office number)
Solah: U dah breakfast ke?
Me: Dah.
Solah: Urm...Urm...Urm...Japgi I call balik... (He drop the call then)

2nd Call (From his mobile)
Solah: Erm, U dah breakfast ke?
Me: Dah, nape?
Solah: I rasa nak cancel je trip to China tu.
Me: Hish, ape plak, tak perlula...Ini pasal keje...
Solah: I risau takot U give birth mase I kat China.
Me: Ala, its ok. Doala semoga I akan deliver earlier or after U balik.
Solah: Mane boleh camtu, tu anak first I. I tak sedap hati la.
Me: U pergi je, I taknak nanti boss u ungkit pasal ni sampai bila2. Ni pasal keje.
Solah: U saje cakap macam ni, padahal U taknak I gi kan.
Me: Serious! U pergi je...
Solah: Hurm...Takpela...
Me: Pergi je, ok.
( Call end)

Out of sudden, he said he want to cancel the trip to China. Hurm...

I read about pregnancy A LOT, this special info perhaps can ease ur feeling:
Source: Click here and here.

1) Expected Delivery Date (EDD).

-Your EDD is 40 weeks from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP).
-If you deliver on your EDD, your baby is actually only about 38 weeks old — that's because your egg didn't become fertilized until about 2 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period.

***My EDD is on 20.11.2011
***My LMP was on 13.02.2011

It's important to remember that your due date is only an estimate — most babies are born between 38 and 42 weeks from the first day of their mom’s LMP and only a small percentage of women actually deliver on their due date.

***Our baby is now 36 weeks old (another 2 more weeks to go if I'm about to deliver on my 38 weeks of pregnancy, betol kan?)

2) Indication

To assuage your worries here are a few clear indications of when I'm going into real labor
  • Runny loose stools/diarrhea (I only experience this nowadays!)
  • Loss of mucous plug aka "bloody show"
  • Contractions are consistent and grow in intensity (Mine still not consistent. False labor, maybe?)
  • Water breaks

Hey MR Hubby,
Perhaps U got NO worries by now ok.
U only feel so EXCITED kan?

I am a BIG GIRL...
And BIG GIRL don't CRY :p

Souvenir from Sabah

I got this from my sis, Wimie :)

She just came back from Sabah.

Thanks a lot!

I LOVE PEARL :P

Going to China

I'll be going back to my hometown this weekend. Until then, I will take a long leave...waiting for my delivery.

Even it's still a long way to go before my EDD on 20.11.2011 but due to this severe minor contraction that I'm having, it's better for me to rest and prepare myself mentally.

On working demand, Solah is going to Guangzhou, China next week for 4 days. Can't insist not to go either. His company completely prepared the visa and the flight ticket booked earlier.

To be honest, I'm super duper worry if I'm going to give birth without Solah beside me-to support me during that toughest time. I can't imagine myself :(

Anyway, still praying for the BEST. Perhaps, Solah will be safe abroad and enjoy the journey.

"Hey my little baby, come out earlier before daddy leave OR only after daddy comes back from China yea. Hehe. Mommy bet, daddy will buy something for u all the way from China. How mommy wish to see u not earlier than the EDD. Be healthy. Love u always!"

Mail From Mommy :D

My Dear Baby,

Mommy knows that you're happily playing inside my belly. The first contraction really make both of us worry so much.

There's still no sign of labor even mommy can't sleep well last nite. Mommy getting more and more restless and uncomfortable.

Mommy decided to take early leave and going back to hometown as soon as possible without having to go back and forth to the hospital here. Pity daddy need to rush here and there. He need to work without worrying about both of us too.

Well, you haven't seen what mommy and daddy have prepared for you out here :)

Enjoy the taste of chocolate and ice cream while you can because it will be many, many months before you're able to taste them for real.

You know what, mommy remember at one time, daddy went for Friday prayer, when he came back, he bought mommy a magnum ice cream. Mommy was so surprised as daddy put the ice cream inside his shirt. Hehe! Romantic rite?

It's ur daddy:)

He even bought us more after that and mommy managed to finish 2 magnum ice cream alone one shot!

Mommy thinks we both enjoy the choco taste dearly, rite?
The excitement of finally meeting you surpasses everything else. I wonder how you look like. Do you have more of mommy or daddy's features?

In the mean time, mommy and daddy are busy preparing to welcome you to the world. Mommy and daddy have been on stand by since yesterday.

Mommy and daddy are excited and really looking forward to hold you in our arms. Be nice to mommy yea.

Love,
Mommy

Mommy's Talk

I keep thinking about this since morning. I can't stop myself to post it here then (coz actually, I don't really prefer to always share about my pregnancy, notice that I wrote about my pregnancy daily few days back)

BUT, still it so happens...

I reached office in the very early morning today. So to kill the time, I had my mommy's talk during breakfast with 1 of my officemate, she's a mother for 10 months year old boy :P

Mate: How's ur pregnancy so far? I wanted to ask so many times before but can't catch the time...
Me: Owh, so far so good. But now I'm not having a good night's sleep.

Mate: Same goes with what I experienced before. But u better sleep at left side position so that baby can get enough oxygen during ur sleeping time. This is based on what gynae adviced me on my last pregnancy.
Me: Really? No wonder!
(my baby will do little tai chi when I try to sleep on right side position)

Mate: Have u planned where to deliver? How about ur preparation?
Me: I might deliver at any nearest hospital to my hometown since this is our first time, I'm not well prepared for what to do after giving birth. Perhaps, not earlier than expected. Otherwise, nearby hospital here will be the other option.

Mate: U better take ur maternity leave earlier since I was delivered my baby 5 days earlier before the EDD. It was really shocked and panic when I started to feel the contraction. My hubby drove me to the hospital and he was quite blur at that time, lucky both parents were there too. Even we booked the bed earlier, we still coudn't control the feeling, we were so nervous!
Me: Now, I'm contemplating. Coz, I only plan to take leave on 18 Nov onwards since my EDD is on 20 Nov.

Mate: Hah? U better don't. Earlier would be better. U really need someone who know to handle fragile self.
Me: Urm, will discuss further with Solah (***Solah actually warned me before to take leave 1 week earlier! Ngee)

Mate: Must do! haha. So, how about ur preparation on buying baby's stuff?
Me: I've completed our baby shopping last week. Now, decorating the room (Smiling)...

Mate: Wah, so good. I miss those days and feelings too.
Me: It's amazing! Beyond my explanation. I can't wait for weekend, since we only have more time to decorate the room.

Mate: Lucky u.
Me: Thanks, but need to prepare advance gift for ur little boy, I will not be there to celebrate his birthday.
(***Start thinking what to buy for that little toddler-to-be)

While walking to our workstation after our early breakfast...
Mate:  How about ur weight now?
Me: Just reached 56.5kg last week.

Mate: On my last day before delivery, my weight reached 65kg. U'll gain more weight by this week.
Me: Wow! But u manage to get back in shape! Huh, perhaps me too. (Very suprised to hear that-previously before getting married, she was at 40kg-45kg)!

Mate: U need to really take a good old people advice during confinement. (Smiling)
Me: Hmmm...(***Speechless, thinking while smiling).

End up our mommy's talk..
Both of us continue our daily routine...

What are in my mind then???

TO DO LIST:
-Plan for my EARLY maternity leave-if I'm about to deliver earlier, so sad our parents will not be there, better get those prepared
-Which hospital to go to (Dungun/KT) plus option, book the bed
-Prepare a birthday gift to little boy
-Complete necessary report for handover to my staff during my leave

I'm forcasting myself to be very busy in the office by now :(
Will attend 1 meeting tomorrow at Cyberjaya. Need to drive there with my huge belly.
Really can't wait for weekend! Rest and deco time! Will share my DIY projects as well soon.

Pregnancy Journey So Far...

It's overwhelming to see my baby is growing so well with 2.2kg approx! Mainly because of my Solah determination and willpower to keep motivating me during the hard/tough time.

If I recall correctly, I admitted to hospital twice, had serious diarrhea several times and took many many MCs! Solah was the one who always be with me since both of our parents are not a few feet away to come and visit us :(

But to see such a wonderful development of my baby, I can put all the challenges aside.

I'm proud to say I have a very cool husband! He never fails to make me laugh. When Solah starts to talk with our baby, his favourite word right now is 'HELLO'. Hehe. I always ask him whether he is talking over the phone with our baby, then both of us will laugh :P

LATELY (on my 33 weeks ++ of pregnancy with current weight-56.5kg)...

I've been a bit off for the past few days, like my mind was playing tricks on me. I didn't have the appetite to eat nor to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, my hormones came crashing big time. I broke down and cried like a mad lady...which also contribute to my exhaustion. Huh!

Instantly, Solah will be there and came to the rescue. I noticed he will a bit relieve once I put on smile.

Surprisingly since yesterday,  I feel a lot better after my so-called "DIY" therapy. I googled about confinement, breastfeeding and formula feed a lot. I found out this topic interesting-as a new mother-to-be.

OK that helped. A sign of growth ;)

Can't wait to have a good break this weekend!

Note: I'm making frequent bathroom trips a necessity-it sorta sucks getting up to pee every 10 minutes! Haha!

Colleague Dearest...

Deepest condolence.

I've received an SMS last Saturday, 8th October 2011 from one of my officemate:
"Ming Kait passed away...fainted this morning then gone..."

It was indeed a great shock to hear this. I couldn't believe myself. Little did I know, doctor suspected he had heart valve problem. I'm truly saddened by his death.

Though you can't read this, rest in peace, my dear friend, Ming Kait. You are such a great friend for me.

I used to work closely with him, joke with him, avoiding him sometimes, solve problem together with him, but now...

He'll be missed!

Little One

This is my baby's position for this week.
I'm easily get hungry. Compared to before, I never able to finish such big amount of meals but now, all changed. Hehehe.

Last weekend was so-called "fast food" day some more! I didn't cook since we were busy with baby shopping day.

Both of us finish those ok!

Perhaps, I'm not having sudden weight gain. From my reading, this sudden weight gain causes high blood pressure and protein in the urine.

It's only 2 months away from my due date and at times I can feel the strain at my lower abdomen from carrying this bundle of joy.

Every time I sit, it's as if I have a BIG ball on my lap.

Every night when I'm just about to doze off, the little one does Tai Chi.

My baby is moving around like nobody's business. Enjoying your swim in there I suppose :)

I'm sure gonna miss all that, once my baby makes the debut.

Hey my little baby, see what mommy and daddy bought for you =)
Pity daddy, assemble the cod alone. Mommy was extra exhausted and went to bed earlier right after snap this photo.
